Vigore 50 Red Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE 5) inhibitors primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in adult men. Additionally, Vigore 50 Red Tablet may also be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) in adults to improve the ability to exercise and to slow down clinical worsening.
 
Vigore 50 Red Tablet works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby allowing the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. Thus, Vigore 50 Red Tablet helps treat erectile dysfunction. Vigore 50 Red Tablet relaxes the blood vessels, increases the blood supply to the lungs and reduces the workload of the heart. Thereby, treating pulmonary hypertension.
 
You are advised to take Vigore 50 Red Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Vigore 50 Red Tablet may cause side effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, indigestion and stomach upset. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
Do not take Vigore 50 Red Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components or if you are taking nitrate medicines or riociguat (a drug used to treat pulmonary hypertension). Vigore 50 Red Tablet is not recommended for use in children. Consult your doctor if you experience hearing or visual impairment. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may impair your ability to get an erection. Taking Vigore 50 Red Tablet after a heavy meal might take longer time for the medicine to work; therefore you are advised to take Vigore 50 Red Tablet with light meals.

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water as a whole. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet. Syrup/Suspension: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided by the pack.Powder for oral suspension: Check the label for directions before use. Add the prescribed quantity of water to the powder, close the cap and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Take the prescribed dose using the dosing syringe.Sachet: Open the sachet and consume the entire contents.Orally disintegrating strip: Keep the strip in the mouth and allow it to disintegrate. Do not swallow as a whole. Avoid handling the strip with wet hands.Jelly: Place the jelly in the mouth or under the tongue and allow it to dissolve.Effervescent tablets: Check the label for directions and take it as advised by the doctor. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in half a glass of water and consume the solution immediately.
